Thank you, NHS book – 2020

This book was written by the children and staff of Banks Road Hub, consisting of Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School, St. Austin's Catholic Primary School and Banks Road Primary School in South Liverpool. All schools across the country closed and children were sent home on Friday 20th March. Most children then stayed at home, working online and on packs of work prepared by their teachers.

The three schools joined together from 23rd March 2020 to provide a safe space for the children of Key Workers during the coronavirus pandemic of 2020. These children came to the Banks Road Hub each day, based at Banks Road Primary School, where they were kept safe while their parents/carers worked.

The children and staff from each of the schools were invited to take part in this writing project in order to raise money for the NHS. The book even includes an entry from Ricky Tomlinson, the well known Liverpool actor! All stories, poems and letters were based around the theme of 'How the World Healed'. All profits from this book will go directly to the NHS.
